Smoke Alarm Toolkit
The campaign has resources for local fire departments to download and use in local education efforts. The toolkit includes:
- A logo in print and online sizes;
- Draft text for DPW roadside message signs;
- An Op-Ed piece for submission to the local newspaper
- A customizable press release; (2018 version coming soon)
- Links to TV public service announcements (English and Spanish) that can be used on local cable access
- General smoke alarm safety and maintenance messages
- Smoke alarm safety and maintenance messages for older adults
- A FireFactor educational handout on smoke alarms.
