Smoke Alarm Toolkit

The campaign has resources for local fire departments to download and use in local education efforts. The toolkit includes:

  • A logo for use in print or online;
  • An educational flyer on smoke alarms in English, Spanish, and Portuguese;
  • Memes for use on social media;
  • An Op-Ed piece for submission to the local newspaper
  • A customizable press release; 
  • Links to TV public service announcements (English and Spanish) that can be used on local cable access

  2. Smoke alarm safety and maintenance messages for older adults
  • Draft text for DPW roadside message signs;
