Staff training: Helping older adults and people with disabilities find and use transportation services

Learn how to help your consumers access mobility services so they can live active and independent lives in their communities.

Mobility is critical to quality of life for older adults and people with disabilities. This training is targeted to staff of aging and disability service organizations. It covers:

• Types of transportation services available in communities across Massachusetts
• A tool to navigate through the options and identify which services are available locally
• Supports available to help people learn to use transportation services, and support available during a trip
• Driving as a mobility option for people with disabilities and older adults
