Guidelines for pharmacists to prescribe oral PrEP, PEP, STI treatment and DoxyPEP

M.G.L. c. 94C, § 19F, as implemented by 105 CMR 700.000: Implementation of M.G.L. c. 94C, authorizes licensed pharmacists practicing in Massachusetts to prescribe and dispense medications for HIV prevention, including oral PrEP and HIV PEP, certain STI treatments and DoxyPEP.  There is no requirement for pharmacists to prescribe.  This circular letter describes general prescribing requirements, and the guidelines provide specific prescribing components to those pharmacists who choose to prescribe.
