Infectious disease data reports and requests

Infectious disease surveillance data collected by the Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences (BIDLS) are maintained in the Massachusetts Virtual Epidemiologic Network (MAVEN). MAVEN contains epidemiological, clinical, laboratory, and case management data utilized for case investigation and surveillance purposes on approximately 90 reportable infectious diseases.

Disease specific reports are available below. If you need additional data, please fill out the infectious disease surveillance data request form (below). Please allow up to 2 weeks for preparing your request. If you have specific questions about data availability, please call (617) 983-6801 to speak with an epidemiologist.

Arbovirus Surveillance Plan and historical data 

These pages provide data for diseases that can be spread by mosquitoes (often called arboviruses) in Massachusetts and MDPH’s plan for monitoring these diseases.
