130 CMR 409.000 describes the requirements for the purchase, rental, and repair of Durable Medical Equipment, and for the purchase of medical supplies under MassHealth. All Durable Medical Equipment and supplies (DME) must be non-experimental, non-investigational, of proven quality and dependability, and must conform to all applicable federal and state product standards.
