202 CMR 5.00 implements the unit pricing requirements of M.G.L. c. 6, § 115A, requiring retailers of common grocery and household products to post next to the items displayed for sale the price per unit of such products. Also implements the requirements of M.G.L. c. 98, § 56D, requiring all retailers' automated retail checkout systems to charge consumers the correct price for items that the retailer offers for sale.
