Administrative Order 17-1

This Order is issued pursuant to the authority established by G.L. c. 211B, § 9.

Pursuant to Administrative Order 10-2, a pilot program at the Barnstable Division of the Probate and Family Court Department and for the Interdepartmental Transfer of Certain Abuse Prevention Proceedings was established. The pilot commenced on December 1, 2010 and was effective for a period of twelve months. The pilot program was extended pursuant to Administrative Order 11-1.

The pilot program established pursuant to Administrative Order 10-2 and extended by Administrative Order 11-1 is hereby continued as a program allowing the transfer of certain abuse prevention proceedings until further Administrative Order. All provisions of Administrative Order 10-2 (attached) are incorporated by reference in this Administrative Order and remain in force and effect until further Administrative Order of the Chief Justice of the Trial Court.
