Providers
Home care
To help participants become more independent, our Home Care Assistance Program (HCAP) pairs individuals with a dedicated case manager who works with them to coordinate a wide range of in-home services. These services are provided by a trained homemaker and include meal preparation, grocery shopping, medication pick-up, and light housekeeping.
Home modification loans
Individuals with disabilities or those over 60 years old are eligible for our Home Modification Loan Program (HMLP), which provides no-interest loans to make homes more accessible. HMLP helps individuals achieve greater independence through home modifications.
Independent living centers
Independent Living Centers (ILCs) are community-based non-profit organizations run by people with disabilities. At ILCs, individuals can work with peers and advocates to live more independently.
Brain injury services
If individuals have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), our Statewide Head Injury Program (SHIP) can play a key role in your recovery. SHIP offers a wide range of brain-injury-related services in community-based and group care settings.
Assistive technology
MassAbility is here to help individuals looking for assistive technology. Through our Assistive Technology services, individuals can find communication devices, memory enhancement aids, wheelchairs, vehicle modifications, and more.
