Description
Puddingstone WMA is a 208-acre property of mostly upland with some maple swamp. This property was acquired by MassWildlife through two land purchases in 2023 and 2025. This property’s namesake is on full display; Puddingstones are a conglomerate of sedimentary rock made of round pebbles inside a fine-grained base. The unique geological features can be found all around the property.

Access to this property is off Rocky Woods Street in Taunton. A gravel lot is available for 4 vehicles.
Hunting & fishing opportunities
This area provides sufficient cover for upland game species such as gray squirrel, eastern cottontail, wild turkey, white-tailed deer, and eastern coyote.
Wildlife viewing & other features
Wildlife viewing opportunities can include woodland bird species, upland game species, reptiles such as eastern box turtles.
