Overview
Summit road open mid-May through mid-October. The summit of Mt. Sugarloaf offers amazing views of the Connecticut River Valley. The park is great for picnics, hiking, and mountain biking.

Auto Road
The auto road and restrooms are closed for the season and will reopen in the spring of 2025
Parking
Daily parking fee charged seasonally ( May 24 through October 13) when the road open/close
MA resident $5
Non-MA resident $20
Resident and non resident status is determined by the vehicle license plate

Take the View of the Valley Trail or the more challenging Pocumtuck Ridge Trail to the summit for amazing views. -
Scenic viewing
From the summit you can see some of the best views of the Connecticut River Valley.
