VPN Instructions

Effective March 17, 2020

Due to the significant increase in VPN requests due to the response of the COVID 19 Virus a process change has been implemented.  All VPN account requests must go through each agencies SCIO (Secretariat Chief Information Officer).  This process change includes DOR users requesting the DOR VPN and Public Safety users requesting the Public Safety VPN solution.  The SCIOs have been provided the needed details required to submit bulk orders.  Your SCIO will in turn submit the bulk order to the TSS Telework PMO to process the requests.  Once your request is processed you will receive an email notifying you that your new VPN account is ready.

Below is the support web site for VPN accounts created after March 17, 2020.

The VID platform gives users much greater flexibility for using VPN while providing a higher level of security than ever before. It does this by making use of VerizonID (VID) service.

To connect to the VID VPN platform, you will log in through a new VerizonID website using a (regular) password of your choice.  Each time you log in, the VerizonID will auto-generate and send to you a one-time access code that will act as your "soft token." You will enter that code to complete your login and access the VPN.
