Public Meeting Notice  Brook Farm Historic Site RMP Public Meeting 7/31/2025

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is holding an informational meeting and public listening session on the preparation of a Resource Management Plan (RMP) for Brook Farm Historic Site in Boston’s West Roxbury neighborhood. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public about the RMP planning process and to take comments about the park. The presentation will also outline how the RMP will be used to develop a Conceptual Design for the property, at a later phase of work with its own public process. This is the first of two public meetings to be held concerning the Brook Farm RMP. The second public meeting will be scheduled when the Draft RMP is available for public review and comment.

The public will be invited to provide comments during the meeting, after the presentation, by unmuting their microphones, or the chat functionality that will be available through the virtual participation platform. After the meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing  on DCR’s Past events for DCR Public Meetings Information web page.  DCR encourages the public to share additional feedback, with a deadline for receipt of comments by DCR of August 30^th, 2025. Comments may be submitted via the DCR public comment portal. Please note that the content of comments you submit to DCR, along with your name, town, and zip code, may be posted on DCR's website. Additional contact information required when commenting, notably email address, will only be used for outreach on future updates on the subject project or property.
