Exciting updates are coming to your WIC benefits! Massachusetts WIC is updating food packages to offer your family more variety and flexibility. With new whole grain choices, added canned fish, and more allergy-friendly options, we’re making it easier to eat healthy! Most families will see these changes after their first appointment scheduled between late January and April 2026. Check your WICShopper app for more details!

WIC provides nutritious foods to support the health and growth of women, infants, and children. To streamline your shopping, you can use your WIC card at self-checkout lanes in the following stores:

Shopping Tips:

• Payment Order: Always swipe your WIC card as your first form of payment.
• Milk Substitutions: If the store-brand fluid milk is out of stock, you may purchase the equivalent name-brand product. Please note that organic and specialty milks remain unauthorized.
• Find Retailers: Use the "WIC Stores" icon on the WICShopper app or search for WIC-approved stores online for a full list of authorized retailers.
• Approved Foods: View the complete list of eligible items in the WIC Food Guide. 

Shopping online with WIC

WIC online ordering is now available through all Massachusetts Walmart stores. Order your WIC-eligible foods online at Walmart for pick-up or delivery.

Massachusetts residents who receive WIC benefits can use their WIC card to buy food online at Walmart.
