Healthy Incentives Program donor acknowledgement

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) thanks donors who have contributed to the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) to fund client incentives.

Table of Contents

HIP provides a dollar-for-dollar match to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) clients for each SNAP dollar spent on fruit and vegetable purchases at participating Massachusetts farmers markets, farm stands, mobile markets, and community supported agriculture programs.

Each dollar contributed by donors is placed in an expendable trust for this purpose, then directly applied to SNAP clients’ HIP incentive.

Thank you to HIP donors

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR), and the Department of Public Health (DPH) would like to thank our generous donors for supporting HIP and looks forward to continuing to build program support.
