Healthy Incentives Program fact sheets

The Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) Fact Sheet is a monthly document that we create to share information and updates to the program. Learn more.

Eating fruits and vegetables each day is important for your health. The Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) helps you buy more fruits and vegetables for your household.

The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) thanks donors who have contributed to the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) to fund client incentives.

Based on feedbacks we received from the public, DTA has updated how we calculate the Average Incentives per Household in the HIP Fact Sheet Data. The Average Incentives per Household is now being derived by dividing HIP Incentives by Total HIP Households (within the month). We will work to ensure we update previously published monthly HIP Fact Sheets and data sheet going back to the most recent three years (2019-2021).
