This link contains a NEW Candidate Information Bulletin that PSI has created to reflect the new structure of the licensing exams as of 2/1/24. The Board had assigned Subject Matter Experts to review ALL of the questions from each of the 4 licensure exams, to ensure their continued relevance in the trade, proficiency of the potential licensees, and consistency in evaluation of candidates. The NEW Bulletin outlines the slightly modified structure of the exams with the addition of the Solar & Battery Storage questions, the addition of questions pertaining to licensure, as well as some changes to the number of questions in a specific subject area.
With the addition of the new material, and the reclassification of some questions to the proper exam they pertain to, the number of questions for some sections, and the overall exam, has changed slightly. Please refer to pages 7-10 of the Bulletin for a breakdown of the number of questions in the various subject areas, as well as the required # of correct answers to pass each section of the exam.
