Trails For All – Recommendations for Action

The Trails for All Report includes a comprehensive set of recommendations to expand and sustain a statewide network of accessible trails.

These recommendations are designed to be implemented by a range of stakeholders—including state agencies, municipalities, land trusts, and partners—and are organized across four core areas: 

  • Planning & Policy  
  • Design & Construction  
  • Information  
  • Maintenance  

Together, they form a coordinated strategy to address barriers, improve trail quality, and ensure long-term accessibility.
