The Details

What you need


  • Letter of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
  • Cover letter that includes your mailing address and birthday
  • Check or money order payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Law Students:

  • Copy of your transcript from your law school
  • Cover letter that includes your name and mailing address
  • Request for an Educational Waiver (Waivers are valid for 2 years.)

Once we review your materials, we will mail you an Attorney Broker Application. Your Letter of Good Standing must be valid for 90 days when you complete your Massachusetts license application. As an attorney, you do not have to take an exam.

Law Students

Once we review your materials, we will mail you a Candidate Handbook that allows you to take the entire Real Estate Salesperson exam.
