Features for Software Asset & Inventory Management Services
EOTSS provides Software Asset & Inventory Management services for end-users and Commonwealth agencies to obtain a comprehensive and regular inventory of the software installed throughout their enterprise. This provides effective management of software assets in order to optimally license their IT landscape.
EOTSS has built an extensive catalog of software products and tools for Commonwealth agency customers. Many of the products and tools are offered through an Enterprise Agreement, allowing customer agencies to take advantage of quality pricing and service.
These services are provided to agencies that are either currently supported by EOTSS, and/or utilizing an EOTSS software EA.
Components of this service include: Receive software assets into the ServiceNow Asset Management system include:
- Receive software assets into the ServiceNow Asset Management system
- Monitor, manage and maintain stock levels of EOTSS owned software licenses
- Procurement of additional licenses or entitlements as inventories reach their restocking level (Note: TSS will work with agency ITLs to determine which level and counts of licensing are appropriate.)
- Assign licenses as requested
- Provide reporting and support for licensing audits and true-ups
- Software installation and access support services (Note: installation support services are provided for EOTSS supported end-users only.)
- Active Directory services are included for accounts that are AD-integrated
EOTSS will also work with vendors to obtain quotes for approved software that is not already purchased or available ("Other Software"), including reviewing and providing justifications and approvals.
Pricing for Software Asset & Inventory Management Services
Software Asset & Inventory Management services are included with all standard end user computing software managed by EOTSS.
