A detailed overview of the MVP 2.0 process that provides guidance for the Municipal Project Manager and the Planning Vendor.

Process Tools
These tools are designed to guide you through the different steps of the MVP 2.0 process.
This tool is used by the whole team during Steps 2 and 5. It helps with identifying Environmental Justice and priority populations in your town or region. Their perspectives and lived expertise will be important to include on your Core Team.
GEAR provides maps of community and climate data, guides for thinking about the data, worksheets, "Actions to Consider," and Case Studies. It used by the whole team during Steps 2, 5, and 7.
An exercise to practice using the Guides for Equitable and Actionable Resilience (GEAR).
Three kickoff videos (40 minutes total) that provide an orientation to the MVP 2.0 process. The Core Team watches these together in Step 4.
A set of questions for facilitating the Core Team discussion on the three kickoff videos. This guide is used by the whole team during Step 4.
A tool to guide your Core Team's investigation of social vulnerability and resilience in your city, town, or region across eight topic areas. It is used by the whole team during Step 5.
A tool to help plan your community outreach and engagement activities. This tool is used by the whole team during Steps 5, 6, and 7.
A tool to help the Core Team identify important findings from their outreach and data investigation, and to update their community resilience priorities. It is used by the whole team during Step 6.
A tool to help identify potential Seed Project ideas and get community feedback. It is used by the whole team during Steps 7 and 8.
A tool to help develop an implementation plan for your selected Seed Project. It is used by the whole team during Steps 7 and 8.
A tool that is linked to the Seed Project Plan Part B. It helps you map out your Seed Project budget and timeline as part of your implementation plan. It is used by the whole team during Step 8.
A tool to help the Core Team reflect on the process and identify what went well and what they will do differently for future resilience building efforts. It is used by the whole team in Step 10.

These resources will help you recruit members for your MVP 2.0 Core Team. The Core Team is made up of municipal staff and community liaisons. The Core Team is built during Steps 1, 2, and 3.
These resources are designed to assist grantees in the process of hiring an MVP 2.0 Planning Vendor. This is used by the grantee during Step 1.
