The Details


Come to the Visitors Center for tours and interpretive exhibits that will teach you about the history of Lynn, Mass, which was once the shoe-making capital of the U.S. Learn about the craft and tools of handmade shoe production and the struggle of shoe workers during the Strike of 1860. Visitors can also grab a self-guided brochure and stroll along the boardwalk at nearby Waterfront Park, which features a mosaic mural cataloging Lynn's history.
