Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program

Guides for Equitable & Actionable Resilience (GEAR) 

GEAR provides Massachusetts communities access to data and guidance to assess climate change impacts, as well as actions and case studies for building community resilience.

Climate Resilience Playbook 

The Climate Resilience Playbook is an online interactive tool that local planners can use to identify and prioritize resilience actions for their communities.

ResilientMass Resource Database 

The ResilientMass Resource Database contains resources, tools, and documents for climate adaptation, resilience planning and decision-making at the local, regional and statewide scale. Resources include deliverables and case studies from statewide grant programs, including the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program.

MVP Original Planning Grant (1.0)

The original MVP Planning Grant offered funding to municipalities to assess their vulnerability to and prepare for climate change impacts, build community resilience, and receive designation as an MVP Community. MVP 2.0 is the update to this process.
