Check eligibility and apply online
WIC welcomes families at any time. Please visit WIC's eligibility page to see if you and your family are eligible, and apply online for WIC services. Parents, grandparents and foster parents may apply for children who are in their care. Contact your local WIC office serving your community.
WIC appointments
To complete enrollment in WIC, all applicants will have a certification appointment at the WIC clinic to confirm eligibility for the program and to receive WIC nutrition services. Please see Apply for the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program | Mass.gov for details regarding what you will need to bring to your appointment to assess eligibility.
After the initial certification appointment, WIC families attend periodic follow-up nutrition visits (which may be in person or remote) until it is time for the next certification visit.
Other Information Needed
One important part of WIC services is to check on applicants’ nutrition and health. WIC needs measurements for height/length and weight and an iron check for most applicants. If you have the information from a recent doctor visit, you can share those with WIC staff before or during your visit. If you do not have any recent measurements, they can be done during your appointment.
