What you need for Submit a material change for a competitive supply license
Within 30 days of any material change to your license, you must notify the DPU of the change. You must provide:
- details about the material change(s) on company letterhead
- include any relevant attachments, if applicable
You must email and snail mail the information according to the instructions below.
How to submit Submit a material change for a competitive supply license
Mail the material change(s) to:

Be sure to also send an electronic version of this material change according to the instructions, below.
Email the material change information to:
- dpu.electricsupply@mass.gov and mark.marini@mass.gov for electricity broker and competitive supply licenses.
- dpu.gassupply@mass.gov and mark.marini@mass.gov for gas retail agent and competitive supply licenses.
The subject of the email and the attachment should be labeled as: "date of material change in MM.YY format - NAME OF COMPANY - material change"
Be sure to also mail a hard copy of this material change according to the instructions, above.
