When you apply for SNAP benefits and economic assistance (cash benefits), you must provide and verify certain information as part of the application process.

How to submit Submit documents to the Department of Transitional Assistance

DTA Connect mobile application or web portal:

Log in to DTA Connect online or on the mobile application to scan or upload documents. 

If you do not have an account, create one now by clicking the Create your Online Account tab on dtaconnect.com

You can download the DTA Connect app to your smartphone or tablet and upload your documents using the app. 

NEW! On the website DTAConnect.com you can fill out

  • SNAP Application
  • SNAP Interim Report form
  • SNAP Recertification form. 

There are certain documents that you cannot scan and upload to the DTA Connect web portal and mobile application. You must instead submit them by mail, fax, or in-person. These include:

  • Applications, interim reports and recertifications
  • Documents for the Burial, Fraud, Overpayment, Quality Control, and Hearings units
  • TAFDC and EAEDC disability supplements and medical reports
  • Voter registration forms
