Table of Contents
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 387 created the Mt. Greylock Scenic Byway in Berkshire County; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Lanesborough has requested that certain sections of road in Lanesborough be removed from the Mt. Greylock Scenic Byway;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Argeo Paul Cellucci, Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Supreme Executive Magistrate, do hereby order as follows:
Executive Order No. 387 is hereby amended by striking out section 2 and inserting in place thereof the following section:
Section 2. The sections of Rockwell Road, Notch Road, West Mountain Road, Reservoir Road, Furnace Street, and Furnace Bypass in the Towns of Lanesborough, Cheshire, New Ashford, Adams, and Williamstown, and the City of North Adams, in Berkshire County, as described herein, are hereby designated as the Mount Greylock Scenic Byway. The Mount Greylock Scenic Byway shall begin in the Town of Lanesborough at the junction of Greylock Road and Rockwell Road, and shall proceed generally northward, including: Rockwell Road; Notch Road to the junction with West Mountain Road; West Mountain Road to the junction with Reservoir Road; Reservoir Road; Furnace Street between Reservoir Road and Furnace Bypass; and shall end at the junction of Furnace Bypass and State Route 8 in the City of North Adams.
