How to apply for a business certificate, City of Boston. 
“Doing Business As” (DBA) certificates are filed with the Office of the Town Clerk in the community where the business is principally headquartered. Town Clerks in Massachusetts provide information on how to file online, often including the DBA Form. Other examples are Business Certificate (DBA), Brookline Town Clerk, and Business Certificates (DBA), Whately Town Clerk.
