The online licensing system improves user’s application experience and reduces processing times. Licenses issued by the Division of Radiation Control will transition to the new system beginning on November 25, 2024, at 12:00 pm. This includes any applications that may have been paper-based previously.

The licenses transitioning on November 25, 2024, at 12:00 pm include:

  • Diagnostic Radiography Facility Registration (DRAD) & New Facility Shielding Plan
  • Mammography Facility Licensing & Shielding Plan

Those applications will not be available for download after November 25, 2024, and all users must apply or renew through the online portal. Read the full announcement here.

After that date, affected license holders may apply for or renew a License on Environmental Health eLicensing Portal. If this is your first time using this new portal, please review the BCEH eLicensing System User Guide for information on how to get started.

For more information on the transition, please visit BCEH E-Licensing Transition Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS).
