Mental Health Card The purpose of the card is to inspire thinking by posing a question which will hopefully generate more thought and possible conversations. Also, the reverse side of the card offers individuals an opportunity to identify who can listen to them as well as provide them with resources. This information is in alignment with an Assets Based Approach as the card recognizes there may already be resources within a community that people can use.
Introduction to DMH Brochure. The purpose of the brochure is for people to learn more about the Department without overwhelming them. Again, the focus was on those who are not familiar with the Department and was developed to provide basic information to the public and on ways/opportunities to learn more in depth about the Department, programs, and services if needed. This resource can also be considered a bridging tool from the Mental Health Card to more in-depth information regarding DMH programs and services.
