The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) continues to provide our best, informed, and updated guidance as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. The health landscape requires all our flexibility, perseverance, and commitment to keep staff, children, and families safe and healthy. Programs should continue to make decisions based on available data, including levels of community COVID-19 risk. EEC and the Department of Public Health (DPH) are working closely with the CDC, stakeholders, and experts in the field of epidemiology and pediatrics to develop solutions that balance the needs of children and families with public health and safety.
