News “Choose Safe Places” helps identify sites that are safe from environmental hazards

The “Choose Safe Places” program helps early care and education programs choose locations that are safe from environmental hazards.

The Department of Public Health, Bureau of Environmental Health (DPH) has launched “Choose Safe Places” - a new initiative to help early care and education programs choose locations that are safe from environmental hazards so that children are protected from toxic chemicals.  "Choose Safe Places" provides free resources and assistance such as fact sheets for educators and parents, a property questionnaire, and contact information.  Visit the "Chose Safe Places" website to learn more about this valuable program!
