MassDOT has filed the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the replacement of the Cape Cod Bridges under the National Environmental Policy Act.

The DEIS represents a significant milestone in the Federal environmental review process and public comment were accepted through January 5, 2026.

MassDOT also held a public meeting to review and solicit public comments on the DEIS on December 16, 2025.
