Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH)

The Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) is the principal agency in the Commonwealth which is tasked with raising awareness of the issues of Deaf and hard of hearing people of all ages and backgrounds. MCDHH provides accessible communication, education, and advocacy to consumers and private and public entities so that programs, services, and opportunities are fully accessible to persons who are Deaf and hard of hearing.

The Mission of MCDHH is to ensure full and equitable communication access and provide education and advocacy so that Deaf and hard of hearing individuals are able to fully engage in programs, services, and opportunities throughout Massachusetts.

MCDHH Statewide Advisory Council

The MCDHH Statewide Advisory Council (SAC) is comprised of representatives of Deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, parents, and consumer organizations which regularly inform and advise on support needs of Deaf and hard of hearing individuals across Massachusetts.
