What you need

Follow these steps to update the personal information in your MyMassGov account, for example your race and gender information. 

You will need access to the email address in your account, as well as either the authenticator app or phone number used for your Multifactor Authentication (MFA). 

How to change

  1. Log in to MyMassGov.
  2. Access your account settings by selecting the link with your email address in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "Account settings."
  4. Select "Personal information."
  5. Select the "Edit" button.
    1. You may need to enter a verification code to edit your account settings.
  6. Set or change the personal information.
  7. Select "Save updates" to save, or "Cancel" if you wish to cancel.  
    1. A confirmation will load on the Account settings page when your change has been successfully completed.

MyMassGov doesn’t automatically update other applications you may use. You may need to log into other applications through MyMassGov to update your personal information.
