What you need
If you already have a MyMassgov account, you'll need the email address you used to create the account and your password to log in.
Note: If you're using an authenticator app, the entry in your app will be called "MyMassGov Personal" or "MyMassGov Business," depending on which login type it's for, followed by your login email address. If you set up your MFA before 2025, it may be listed as “Login.mass.gov” followed by your email address.

Steps to log in
Go to my.mass.gov.
Select the type of account you’re logging into: Personal or Business.
Enter the email address you used to create your account.
Enter your password.
Select “Log in.”
If you forgot your password, select the “Forgot password” link and follow the instructions. Read more about how to reset your password.
Next steps
Verify your account and select a service
- Verify your account or set up multifactor authentication (MFA).
- If you’ve already set up MFA, you may be asked to verify your account using the MFA method you chose. Follow the on-screen verification steps.
- If you haven’t set up MFA, you’ll be asked to do so. Read more about how to set up MFA.
- After successful verification, you’ll be brought to the “Welcome” page, where you can select and access a service.
