Final Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision for replacing the Cape Cod Bridges

The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) for the replacement of the Cape Cod Bridges, prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), are now available online.

The combined FEIS/ROD was signed on June 26, 2026, and represents the conclusion of the NEPA process. The ROD identifies the Selected Alternative and summarizes the environmental commitments and mitigation measures associated with the project.

The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was previously published on November 21, 2025, and was available for public review with a 45-day comment period and an associated public hearing. Comments received on the DEIS were considered during the preparation of the combined FEIS/ROD.
