WHEREAS, in the past many Boards and Commissions have been established by Executive Orders to assist the citizens of the Commonwealth, to serve in advisory capacities and to perform certain governmental functions;
WHEREAS, many of the Boards and Commissions created by past Executive Orders are no longer necessary because they have either been replaced by certain statutory bodies or have served the particular purpose for which they were created;
WHEREAS, the Weld-Cellucci Administration is committed to reducing waste, duplication and bureaucracy, and to eliminating unnecessary boards and commissions;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, WILLIAM F.
