Section 114 Reports

Section 114 of Chapter 24 of Acts of 2021

These reports are prepared in response to Section 114 of Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2021 requiring the Department of Mental Health (DMH) to post to the Department’s website, on a monthly basis, data on the availability of beds at inpatient continuing care facilities that are under the supervision or control of the Department, including those operated by or contracted by the Department.  Further, DMH is required to report the number of patients that have been listed in the DMH admission referral tracking system and admitted to continuing care placement that month, reported by the facility that accepted the patient and by the inpatient facility the patient was accepted from. To the extent feasible, all data is organized by race, ethnicity, gender identity, age and other demographic information.

Historic Bed Count Data (2007-2023)

Section 114 further requires posting historic data on the 15 years prior to January 1, 2024 of operational continuing care bed counts, per continuing care facility operated by or contracted by the Department, including, but not limited to, the operational status of beds.
