MDAR Spanish Language Course

In 2024 and 2025, MDAR contracted with Language Connections, a translation and interpretation service provider based in Boston, Massachusetts, to design and hold a virtual Spanish Training Course for Farmers’ Market Managers and vendors. 

This free-to-the-public course provided learners with beginning Spanish training on a variety of agricultural terms and topics, in an effort to better facilitate connections and conversations between Farmers’ Market staff, vendors, and customers. 

To encourage continued learning and provide this information to others interested in learning Spanish basics for a Farmers’ Market environment, we have posted the developed materials below:
