Table of Contents
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Systems Development has succeeded the Office of Federal/State Resources in all of the latter agency's functions; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of this administration that the Bureau of Systems Development shall be the vehicle for the exercise of certain responsibilities by the Executive Office for Administration and Finance; and
WHEREAS, the Governor, as the supreme executive magistrate of the Commonwealth under the constitution, has the authority for ordering and directing the affairs of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Michael S. Dukakis, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, do hereby order as follows:
Article IV of Executive Order No. 122 amended to read in the first paragraph:
"The Executive Office for Administration and Finance through its Bureau of Systems Development or such other additional state agencies, etc."
thereby deleting reference to the Office of Federal/ State Resources and inserting in its place the "Bureau of Systems Development" as the state administrative agency.
